lisariolo: Patience

  • jgoode · 10 months ago
I used to love solitare! So how did I love interest in the game of patience then? I'm think its because I was looking for a new angle a new twist or a new view of something else... in walks impatience with the pile of new colors.

This is a great view - I think I would definitely benefit from stopping to consider the "why" and the "how" more often, rather than that darn "when".

thank you so much for sharing!

Your blog reminds me of Albert Einstein's definition of insanity about repeating the same action and expecting different results. It is a vicious cycle our impatience can easily trap us into. Your thinking follows such persistent logic, I doubt you ever get caught up in that kind of bind. However, your intelligence must frustrate the hell out of you when faced with stupidity in others or delays in general.

Ha! You guessed right that I do get impatient, consistently, when in certain situations. But it is a type of stupid. Stupidity based on laziness or disrespect. I do okay when someone is not capable. I don't have patience for either deliberate neglect or not trying. That drives me nuts! I struggle to reset by expectations even when I know no amount of persuading will trigger a positive response. But I still try to get my patience on. ;)
